Laurie
Carter
Laurie has over fourteen years of Accounting experience in a variety of industries and roles, half of which were in leadership positions. She has worked as an Accounting and Finance professional for non-profit organizations, a restaurant management group, construction, manufacturing, the technology industry and more. Laurie has also worked at a local CPA firm where she gained valuable experience in Tax Preparations (Business and Personal), Financial Statement Preparation, Payroll Tax Prep & Filing, Bookkeeping and much more. Laurie has extensive experience as a past trained QuickBooks ProAdvisor and she is currently a member of the AICPA and SCACPA.
Laurie is native to Vermont, earned her undergraduate degree in Accounting & International Business at the University of South Carolina and her masters degree in Accounting from the College of Charleston. She has lived in Charleston since 2007 and currently lives in North Charleston with her husband and 2 daughters.

Tara
Moore
Tara Moore is a CPA licensed in the state of South Carolina. She has worked in multiple areas of accounting including restaurant management, real estate, development and construction. Tara started her career in Charleston, SC, after graduating from the University of South Carolina in Columbia. She worked as a staff accountant for a restaurant management group in Charleston for a number of years. While working, she obtained her MBA from The Citadel. She left restaurant accounting and entered real estate, where she worked as a development & construction accountant at Greystar. After obtaining her CPA license, she left Greystar to work for a small, local real estate developer in downtown Charleston, doing development accounting for residential and commercial projects on the peninsula and surrounding areas. She then went on to work for Madison Capital Group as the CFO, where she obtained more multifamily accounting experience as well as self-storage. Tara relocated to Savannah and joined Wicker Park Capital Management in July 2019 as CFO.
